Blockparty 2008 is over
Another successful year of Blockparty is in the books. Full results, Pouet/release links, and photos will be added soon. In the meantime, our party info page has a list of attendees (excluding Notacon attendees who didn’t participate in the compos). IC also has a teaser of his awesome Blockparty lounge setup for you:

yeah! The party -really- caught fire this year, like a fusion reactor finally sparking and going past the break-even point. It really felt like we got more energy and spirit and community out of it than we were personally putting in. The scene is not dead.
I’m proud that I was there and was a part of it.

Met new people, learned new techniques, had a hell of a lot of fun and laughs. One of the best demo experiences I’ve ever had.

Blockparty 2008 was the bee’s knees! Glad to see all of you there. Yes, it was off the hook. Just ask Emmanuel Goldstein.

I won’t comment on the thong shopping… but yeah BlockParty was awesome! mad props to IC for making the lounge not a boring meeting room

Sadly I wasn’t present, but having seen the video’s and photo’s it seems you all had a blast.

Ha! Nice picture. On the left frame I am programming and on the right frame I am sleeping, I like the progression.
Blockparty was super cool. I’m very happy that so many creative people were there!
