NVidia CUDA Coding Contest
NVidia is holding a programming contest to take the C source of the LAME MP3 encoder and rewrite it to be as fast as possible. The catch? It must be written in CUDA, NVidia’s GPU programming language, meaning it uses the graphics processor of a GeForce 8 or 9 series card. Top prize is $5,000.
